See the issue yet?

Well that certainly isnt a color I would choose to post a paragraph in! But the issue lies more in that it is too dark. Your other post made it sound as if you were picking on the color purple, which absolutely will not do in a Twillow thread! :P

You both are bringing out good points about use of color. Some colors are hard to see if they don't provide enough of a contrast between the color and the background color. :) 'Purple' is also difficult to see on the green background, so I usually use 'plum'.

Other colours seem to provide too much of a harsh, glaring contrast, which causes problems for some readers. I've heard that
this is one of them
, but it doesn't bother my eyes when I read it on the green background.

Thanks for the comments, everyone. :)

it largely depends on just how much you use it, saying
zaros
(ala LoZ making key terms red) is better then a paragraph/

Having a Fmod green background or Jmod gold background don't help either, as its far far worse against the dark grey

lore people love to do that

Profiled for no particular reason :)

yes indeed; being virtually (colour) blind, only white and bold work for me

Oh! That's a perspective that hasn't been mentioned. I will work it into the advice, as there isn't much enhancement for readers who are in that boat. Perhaps combining color with the other formatting of bold, italics, or underlining can help with that.
