Wow! Thank you, Sookie, and thank you, C 0 D E :)

They are amazing, so clever and so beautiful.

I put a link to them on the first page. I wanted to highlight them so I put them in the first Colour section rather than the ASCII Art section.

I appreciate the mention that they should be done in the Bored? Draw #ere! :)
I'm thinking about how to include that near the links. Perhaps I'll say something like: Please visit the Bored? Draw #ere! thread to view other such creativity or share your own.

Forum fashion?

Well, I'm quite fond of this hood at the moment. Usually I'm horribly mismatched on the full adventurer's log photo, but I always try and get the head gear right.

As for forum tips... Hmm.. Use those 30 title characters wisely! ;)

sometimes when peeps think they are funny ;) , they give great ideas! :)

I think that part of the fashion or style or...elegant prose is
creating a catchy title (that isn't *cough* a misleading title)
so thank you for that idea, Jones. :)

Also, peeps use those squiggles to enhance their titles.

I'll work on it later today.

Edit: working sub-heading for this is
how to hook 'em!

mumbles it would be nice if Jones or others had some examples of excellent use of titles :)

The OPs in Business and Services use ascii symbols and squiggles in titles very well. Some in Events as well. I'm rather fond of this title:
,.•°'¨Chillin' Weekends¨'°•.,
. (done by a friend of mine) ;)

Using ascii symbols, colors and other formatting can quickly use up your available characters in each post - another reason to use those sparingly.

I'm enjoying reading this thread, having fashionable forum threads and posts makes everything stand out so much more!

I don't know whether this falls under "fashion" or not, but I think it can a good idea to select an avatar that demonstrates interest in the topics you often discuss on the forums.

For example, I found that people started taking me a lot more seriously in item discussion once I worked my way up to a blue phat. A lot of people who post on my third age thread have helms, wreaths or phats as avatars too.

Maybe this is just an ID thing though. Item discussion definitely has a unique culture.

Personally, purple is actually my favorite colored phat. I have one keepsaked ingame. I think yellow/green hats are too bright, and red/blue are too dark. The purple phat matches the new purple-trimmed frostwalker robes quite well.

White phat matches third-age melee, although I prefer something a little more colorful.
