There should be some incentive to use the forums at this point, it's like the same 20 people all the time. At least make the forums seem more modern, otherwise no one will want to be on here. There doesn't need to be an in game reward or anything, but come on, some basic functionality is completely non existent here. I was going to post this in off topic but realized it was very relevant.

It's not a rant either. I swear if this thread is moved, locked, or whatever, then this forum is completely hopeless.

Just saying, Jagex makes millions a year in microtransactions alone, but can't modernize their god damn forums? What?
I'm not the only one who's tired of hearing "we'll get to it when we can".. Convenient links

Jagex may as well make all of us forum mod because we're the only regulars and we all know each other. That's how this forum is at this point.
This forum is like what you'd expect of a runescape private server forum when the server is about to die. Unbelievable. Convenient links

On a more serious note, we've had some threads of this like in the past months (needless to say, a lot more over the years) regarding forum state. They should be within the last 5 pages in here if you fancy a read. Life is like a camera: Just focus on what's important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don't work out, take another shot !
