feedback/suggestion

would be nice if you could log in and have a couple characters you made to choose from under one membership

For example i would enjoy trying hardcore ironman but i dont want to pay for two memberships and swap between two accounts etc etc

so kind of like jagex launcher now only when you log in and have your characters list and click which one you want to play at that time your membership applies

rs3
iron man
hardcore ironman

im sure it would hurt the bottom line a little bit from those that do pay for multiple accounts but i feel it would be a worthy update

Most other games have this these days

The new Jagex Launcher does this, pretty much.

But you still have to pay for each account separately, because Jagex is, above all, a business .

And then if you migrate to the new Jagex Account system, you can import all your characters over to it, and have 1 login for all the characters! (which would then show up in the launcher to select) No more having to remember various logins for diff accounts.

And want a new character? hit the "create new" on the character manage page, load up the launcher and select it, and then off you go. Can I turn in a paper without citing all sources?

Like mentioned above, Jagex would likely never do this (for both financial and technical reasons).

The new Jagex Account system is a step in this direction though, so I’d highly recommending upgrading to it.

I have it but definitely not paying two memberships just to try Ironman

It can’t be that technically difficult and realistically minimal financial impact because many players aren’t paying multiple simultaneous memberships

Which part of "Jagex is a business" is confusing you?

It is irrelevant what other gaming companies do. There is simply no financial benefit to Jagex in allowing multiple characters under the same (single) subscription.

They are not a charity.

first off theres no need to be rude if you cant be constructive maybe just dont talk

and there would be a benefit to it. many players stop playing due to not having anything to do or simple boredom allowing one account to have multiple characters would give players more to do with their account and more motivation to play

i highly doubt many people pay for more than one account at the same time anyways they more likely pay for one then suspend it and then pay for the other depending on which they want to play at the time so making them connected would only help the players and improve continued membership
