It's only got one problem. I don't use it. JK- but that is the problem in essence, getting your group of friends to use it.

This really says something about the competence of the Skype and TS devs, does it?

Yet, people on RS still insist on using either or both over Discord for some reason, when every other gaming/misc community I'm a part of has pretty much shifted to Discord. Why is this?

skypes good for text chat, and if you don't talk too often no point in switching to something else for a quick chat.

but how good is discord on keeping unwanted people out of your groups? i'd assume TS's IP systems make it easier for people to ban people and track who come in and out? (i've only used discord once just as a user so I'm not too sure about its functionality)
