I kinda love my job. Have I mentioned that?

I worked 2nd shift tonight, 2:00 pm - 12:30 am, except I was super busy so I didn't clock out till 12:56. The IV room kicked my butt tonight, but it was pretty awesome.

I have the 14th, 15th, and 16th off for going to Cedar Point. We're going the 14th or 15th, depending on when Pat is off.

Who wants to come??

Morning Elle and Korey <3 and ><3

Now I wanna be there too, except I am so looking forward to Madrid too.

Loving your job is such a blessing, I feel so lucky to have mine, it's very incredibly hard work but the most fun you can have and earn money I think. Seeing a child's face light up when they acheive something that has been a struggle, or you tell them how well they have done it will never stop making me smile. Maybe the biggest thrill of all though is teaching small kids science (which sadly I am not timetabled to do at all this coming year as I have another focus), working together to make giant marble runs, making giant plastic hands with polymers and racing snails. I love my job.

lol I love you Zach. TY FOR SAVING MAI THREAD@@@@@

Helen, you're going to have a wonderful time in Madrid! It doesn't look like it's going to work out anyway. David had to pull out because his sister is getting married on the 18th and she has him running all kinds of errands or whatever the week before. So idk if Pat and I are going by ourselves or if we're going to try to reschedule. We're running out of time.

What are you doing this year instead of racing snails??

I was in the IV room last night, and while I'm supposed to be done at 12:30 and home by 1, I didn't clock out till 1:20 and didn't get home till right before 2. One of the night pharmacists likes to keep you late making a bunch of stuff so he won't have to go back there and make it himself after you leave.

Soooooo tired. But that's almost an hour of overtime with nightshift differential, which is like an extra 20% or something. Or maybe it's 15%, idk.

Heya Elle =)

My job had 2 parts, I was the Learning Support teacher in the morning and science in the afternoons, we got funding for me to do the LS job all day though next year. Much as I love this, I will miss the science, but it takes so much preperation and marking that I am hoping to finish earlier than the usual 6pm from now on.

I am so looking forward to Madrid too, the forecast for this weekend is 42C, it is forecast to lower though thankfully to 32C, I would have melted. In preparation I bought a home waxing kit today, it failed. I am all sorted though, euros bought, hair and nails done and a spanish translator app on my iphone, what more could a girl need!
