We went to the farm last night and quickly improvised a dinner on the terrace, threw some blankets and pillows on the ground and camped out there for the rest of the night

What do you guys use to take these pictures? The night time sky for me is completely pitch black.
You're going to need a long exposure time (the one I took is just over 60s) so you can take in a good amount of light from the stars so they show up better, high sensitivity like ISO 1600, I tried taking some with ISO 100 but the results weren't anywhere near as good. Though you'll need a tripod and a timer (just use the self-timer option) or a remote control to take the picture, because if you touch/move the camera ever so slightly it'll come out blurry.
