...pick a comfy spot to watch the meteor showers this week! The Perseid meteor shower is active from July 13-August 26, but peaks this week on August 12-13. It's a great opportunity to spend the night on a beach by the sea, a hillside or simply a rooftop and gaze into the starry night. It's more fun if you do it with someone you know, though! Happy wishing

This applies mostly to people in the Northern Hemisphere, but if you're down south, you'll catch a small glimpse too!

Even though I'm in the Southern Hemisphere I'll be keeping my eyes on the sky. The only light pollution I get is from the moon. Fortunately new moon is due on the 15th of this month, so for the next few days I should get some nice dark sky.

I just hope it stays clear, I don't mind cloudy days as long I get clear nights.
