lol I think you’ve looked up the wrong account because the one I know of being Meadows’ personal has 4765 posts with multiple on HLF, as well as some somewhat semi-active threads...

What we now have is essentially a ransom. We have to increase forum activity or OT gets removed. Why not open HLF to OSRS Maxed players? Why not try and increase knowledge of this place on other social channels to bring in new posters? Why not post here yourself ? Maybe I am misunderstanding, but as your job title is forum curator, maybe some of the effort should come on your behalf.

Also, I find it laughable that you bring up fmods here as though we should be thankful of them or something? Do you have no idea of the HLF's tumultuous past with fmods? And yes, that question is rhetorical because everyone here already knows the answer. Can’t link or quote on phone - but I’m not too sure if revealing the name of his personal account is right. He might not like the publicity it could bring and could affect his gameplay leasure time...

As for this being his “first introduction to the forums”, it’s not. If I’m remembering correctly, the first major thing Meadow’s did on the forums was to remove FMod from more than half the team (think it was something like 35 FMods who lost it at a single time?).

Meadows has also done several other good changes to the forums which in the long run have helped out with activity and the community. This is just an assumption, so don’t take it as anything else, but Meadows stated that the FMod team had a large helping hand in discussing the future of the forums and which subsections to remove. It could have been them who brought up removing the HLF OT due to what’s happened in the past with FMods and HLF users, I don’t know.

Well that is factually incorrect, my personal account has over 4750 posts, and I have actually created threads in HLF: OT - maybe if you find my real personal account, you would be right.

Feel free to come back to me with facts before throwing accusations around. :)

Some of the big changes I have done are:

- Removal over over half of the FMod Team
- Reworking FMR and FH
- Working closely with FMods to remove forum abuses

And there's lots more.

well... less so HLF which is hidden to addicts only, but moreso the rest of RSOF y'all could delete everything older than a year old and do the game a favour.

for that matter... I had like four mutes during the war all put on me by player mods who were mad that they were losing cause they were bandosians. I appealed each one, and there was no one to read the appeals, so they expired. My meter is all the way down, so I dont think I would get muted a whole 30 days next time, but thats been a structural flaw of fb all along. Once you get to that 30 day mark its always 30 days, and where that sounds like "aaaa you shouldnt be cussing at strangers" - gotta tell you, I didn't. I get in weird trouble that doesnt even make any sense, like the robot software decided somethin in the photo looked like a nipple or something.

so yeah. built in expiration dates for posts to rsof sounds good. the history of expired appeals no one ever read would be okay to lose too afaic.
I have quit rsof because moderator found comments about darklight bonus damage on demons "off topic" for wildy flash mobs full of demons
