Well, with all due respect, until I see any proof that you understand this place then I'm going to assume you don't. There are thousands of people that have 'been here many times' and guess what? They lurk for 1 week, make 3 posts and then claim to 'know' the HLF. I don't claim to be some Runescape socialite, but if you were anyone that posted here even semi-regularly on a personal account, it would have been spread around and I'd know who you were. Mod Lee, for his faults, sure understood the place that this forum has and knew not to interfere.
You are the 'forum curator', and you have done literally nothing on the forums ever and your first move was to try and close a ton of forum sections, including ones that have years upon years of history stored in them? I don't know whether that was your bright idea or a higher up pushed that onto you to be the fall guy, but it should have been glaringly obvious that it was not a great idea, especially as what is basically your introduction to the forums.
What we now have is essentially a ransom. We have to increase forum activity or OT gets removed. Why not open HLF to OSRS Maxed players? Why not try and increase knowledge of this place on other social channels to bring in new posters? Why not post here
yourself
? Maybe I am misunderstanding, but as your job title is forum curator, maybe some of the effort should come on your behalf.
Also, I find it laughable that you bring up fmods here as though we should be thankful of them or something? Do you have no idea of the HLF's tumultuous past with fmods? And yes, that question is rhetorical because everyone here already knows the answer.
