I understand that he may have no say and I expected that was the case. But it's a choice to not contribute here. Simply brainstorming with us on the very forum that we don't want to lose would have sent a positive message to both HLF community and to Jagex. I'm not judging him or anyone. Just saying if there was ever a time we needed some support it was during this last week.
Mod Meadows is prepared to give things a chance and that's really great. But I don't think this forum will change significantly and I feel what was initially proposed will end up happening eventually. I'd really like to see some of the suggestions (merging of forums sections) explored before it's too late.
I think we need to work on making HLF a neat tidy package. Merging sections will give the impression of more activity and perhaps make it appear a little more interesting. At the very least it will give existing threads a chance to survive in a new location.
Right now it appears that Mod Meadows is listening (I very much appreciate that), I hope we can work out something that improves HLF rather than just cut away chunks of it.
