1. Liberals don't really watch the news. Also the people who make fun of conservatives are a lot closer to the middle than the liberals on tv.
2. It's a common misconception that people are either democrats or republicans. We always form our opinions on our own and don't just pick between two options. Having two major parties just prevents people with similar opinions from voting for different candidates, which generally improves the quality of our elects.

I live in Florida! Where are you going?

Basically a dollar is made of 100 cents. Different coins are worth a different number of cents. Pennies are 1, nickels are 5, dimes are 10, and quarters are 25.

A lot of record stores just stock records by tier 4 and tier 3 bands, and I usually only listen to tiers 1 and 2. Incubus is a good tier 4 band I guess.

It's a thin pastry filled with frosting or jelly. You're supposed to put it in your toaster. They're not very good

We like to pay people for doing a good job. You should tip anyone who does anything for you.

Paying higher wages and eliminating tips for service jobs would make it a lot harder to evaluate which employees perform the best (or are the most attractive tbh).

Doesn't this help the already well off owners make more money (by paying low wages) to the detriment of the much less well off waiters?
