The reason I didn't provide examples in my previous post is that this conversation tends to be held between people who can think of plenty of examples from their own lives and those of people they know, and people who disbelieve that the situations occur, or occur frequently, or occur widely, or matter all that much even if they do occur. So it tends not to advance anything to start talking about specifics.

The OP also started the thread because he wanted to mock the concept. So initially I thought there wasn't likely to be any benefit in posting seriously about it, but then I thought at least I'd have made the point, even if no-one cared or believed it. I can certainly come up with instances, if anyone's asking for any reason other than assuring me afterward that I'm talking total crap.

hard to say what i'd say until after you say it, but i have a feeling you probably are going to say something highly illogical, but if you do say something intelligent then i won't mock you just to mock you

make fun of the post? yea. Do I think there's some inherent advantage someone has based on their skin colour? no. Do I believe if you don't act like the society you live in wants you to act may make things harder for you? yes. Is there an absolute connection between the last two statements I made? No.

That's where i stand with the whole thing, maybe if you understand that you might see things differently.
