One of the mainstream anime that I feel like a lot of people are hating on recently is Attack on Titan which I personally thought was really perfect in many ways. I've heard that the manga has gone to shit even though I don't read it and maybe the usual 'the manga is bad/good so I'm going to say the anime is the same' thing that is very common with One Piece.

Why the hell is fairy tail having a god damn fan service chapter in the middle of the final battle??? Although I have to say they did it in a way without really showing too much and it was pretty funny. But it was totally out of place in the middle of an intense final showdown where backup for the bad guys is on the way.

What the actual fuck is going on in Durarara right now?!?!
The entire show is about how great two friends are and that they will go to any length to protect each other. But they just reverse that for no reason and with no explanation. I mean he even shoots his friend with a Sedgley Glove Gun. And all so he can shoot himself? Why the hell didn't he just shoot himself from the get go? What the fuck was the point to even meeting his friend and fighting/shooting him if he could have just killed himself at any time? What the fuck is going on????

This show always tries to be so high concept like it has brilliant ideas and understanding of the human psyche in depths others can not understand but lately it has been like someone gave a monkey cocaine and just let it pick random actions and that's what the characters do!


It is the same bullshit with the Naruto ending.
Everything is over but this fight was hinted at for a long as time so we need to have it even though it makes no sense and nobody has any motive that makes a fucking lick of sense so we better blow each others' fucking arms off.

This certainly isn't the case with the main One Piece community (reddit/orojackson), you have to admit that Toei has run OP to the ground as of late and most people really tend to look down on people that haven't given the manga of a series a try and only watch the anime.

I think that SnK had a very good and passionate animation team to the job and the chapters that it animated had some very good source material. As of late though I just feel like the mangaka (and his many assistants) hasn't really tried too much to give the series the justice that it needs... and it hasn't really considered the political factors and implications that the manga (at this point) seems to be based on.

Sad to see the Assassination Classroom manga over but happy to see it ended on the author's terms. The anime still has a few more weeks that I can hold on to at least. I always love those nice teacher/student anime such as this and GTO. Wish there was more like it.

If it was a perfect world I would have the animation to be a bit better and for them to take breaks so that the episodes/arcs aren't as dragged on as they are currently. But obviously they're a business and they need to make money so it's not a very realistic nor viable idea.

I think Ajin is one of the best ones running too (Gintama is but no one watches it) even though I really dislike CGI. I put it above Erased because Erased isn't original since it's very similar to The Butterfly Effect. I have other pros & cons but don't have time to go into them.

I'm up to date with Gintama in both the anime and manga, too bad that its ending tomorrow? (or next week?) It has been my favourite series for ever since I started watching it really, I don't really know why they are ending the series when there is still quite a bit of source left, not to mention this arc the manga is on at the moment is arguably better than the SA arc anyway...

Hopefully we get a movie or something idk
