Maths Degree here. (I know, I know, I'm boring).

Then again, I don't feel it's actually helped me any. After I left, I trained to become an accountant (Wow, how exciting am I?). Got qualifications in allsorts of things, and I'm still unemployed... for now. :(
Quite frankly, wish I'd saved the money I used to pay for my degree instead of going away. Wasted time, wasted money, and not that enjoyable. It wasn't hard or anything... just boring.
If you only do what you can do, you will never be more than you are now.

It's amazing how many people I talk to who have degrees in a vast array of things - ranging from the useful to the pointless - who say that university was a waste of time.

Feels like anyone can go, and you'll just be awarded it. There seems to be no prestige about having a degree. When I talk to my grandmother, she's like "Back in my day, only the extremely wealthy or the supremely intelligent went to university". She speaks so highly about the ones who got in based on their intellect.

In RS terms, it's like maxed players. In 2006, you'd be like "woah, a legend has just passed", now it's "meh, another maxed nooblet."
If you only do what you can do, you will never be more than you are now.
