i did it but tbh parts of it made me feel very uncomfortable

Thank you for completing the survey! I'm sorry that parts of it made you feel uncomfortable. Although you didn't specify which parts did so, I'm guessing it was some of the questions related to your opinions of people you know? Those questions came directly from a well-known and widely used tool to measure Attraction. But I completely understand how, depending on who you've chosen to answer questions about, the questions might be hilariously awkward!
The part were you asked if i found direct relatives sexually attractive was pretty weird, but thats not what made me uncomfortable.
im just extremely anti socail, and not open with anyone

As you've described yourself as "anti social and not open with anyone", I can see how the survey may be difficult or uncomfortable to complete. That doesn't mean your responses will not be relevant, however, so I'm still very grateful that you chose to complete it!

With regards to the questions concerning attractiveness: I can see how they may be confusing questions to come across, depending on who you're answering them about. In order to meaningfully compare the responses for each participant, the Attraction measure was included regardless of the relationship. Although this may not always be the most relevant choice, it was decided that, for times like this, the response option of "Neither Agree nor Disagree" would convey that the question is not relevant/appropriate.

if thats the case ill take another look and post if i find any of the other questions strange

in regards to

I see myself as:
why do you ask questions with specific character traits that can vary wildly?

for example id strongly agree that im disorganised, but id strongly disagree that im careless, so in this case if they are equally exact opposites do you put the middle?

when it comes down to these kind of things, the ones im used to are australian and there wording would have been something like

"below are sets of 2 examples, please indicate the traits that applys to you, and if they are opposed, please indicate towards the one that is more applicable to you"

Again, those questions were taken from a widely used tool designed to assess Personality. I agree that the paired words aren't always true or false, depending on the individual. The particular tool was chosen as it's short (we were concerned about the length of the survey) and has been found to have good reliability. That does not, of course, mean that it is perfect - so your comments have been very thought-provoking, thanks!

Did the survey for you :)

Edited to add, really useful to make yourself aware of how you feel about rl versus online friends, I wonder if quiet people would think more of online friends over real life friends? Yes, has given me food for thought :)

I completed the survey and I found it really informative on how I act irl and towards my friends, however, I have a few criticisms.

Firstly, with the education bit about personal things, there's nothing between secondary school and university and I've only completed college at the moment in the UK so maybe add an option in between.

Also, for when you talk about friends, perhaps give an option to indicate a fully online friend as opposed to fully offline friend because you could meet someone online and be friends irl so it could give a better difference to the two.

Finally, some of the responses are quite similar in the description of friends but otherwise, they were pretty good and covered a lot of points.

I think the survey is well done and I wish you the best of luck for when you use them!

in this regard, i value a person based on who they are, if my rl friend is a dirt bag, why should they be more important then a kind caring online friend?

Thank you for completing the survey!

The decision was made to not include a "college" option, as it was feared it could cause confusion for some, as the term means something completely different in many countries. The categories of "Secondary/High school" and then "University Bachelor's Degree" were therefore decided to be most appropriate. However, your comment shows me that an additional "College/Sixth Form" (or something else carefully worded so to not cause confusion for those unfamiliar with this education system) would perhaps be helpful for any future research - so thank you!

Maybe I didn't say correctly what I was thinking, it was more along the lines of the fear over abandonment etc as apposed to 'think more of' in the literal sense
