Yeah I really didn't want it to require a page refresh. I want it to be relevant at all times.
The refresh time is random(ish) give or take 10 seconds. you can see this with a few tabs open.
This is so if there are multiple tabs open they all don't make a data request simultaneously. This allows the new data to be saved before the other open tabs request it, they see the save has changed and use that rather than request it again.
Not sure if I explained that well, but if anyone notices a difference in timing across a few open tabs, that's why. It's just to reduce unnecessary http requests
