Also, Indy, perhaps you could shed your infinite wisdom on this little issue. I have no idea if it's forum-related or Linkify-related, but I never had this issue pre-reskin. I also have no idea how to reproduce it, but the times that I managed to encounter it, I tried to figure out what the cause was, and came up empty handed.

This is an intermittent issue.

Whenever I type, and when I hit near the end of my post (let's say ~100 characters remaining [I've not had it happen with over ~100 characters remaining]), I am unable to type any longer. It says, "[X] characters remaining," but I cannot change anything nor add to it. What's more is that this applies to editing, too.

If I attempt to post/edit with Linkify enabled, the avatar-code eats up some of the characters, but even with that enabled, I still am unable to use the remaining characters. For example, if I had 42 characters left, and the code took up 31 characters, then I am unable to use those last remaining characters. It'll just... stop.

If I attempt to post/edit without Linkify enabled, I am still unable to use those remaining characters. If I remove the avatar code, I am sometimes able to edit my post.

This issue appears to occur with ~100 characters remaining, and it does not happen all the time. I once tried it with posting all "@" symbols, and I once tried it with a combination of symbols and text, but I couldn't reproduce it.

I have no idea what causes it, and some folks have encountered it a while back, and others have not (back when the forum re-skin was happening, there was a thread in W&F, and I posted there about it, but nothing came to light about it); I have no idea if those people were using Linkify.

I wonder if it's basing it on the most frequently used words. 'Cos, "test." is 5 characters, and it states 5 characters are remaining.

But... That might just be a coincidence.
