3 things:

a)

I guess you're working on jmod/fmod highlights?

b)

Debug note:
opening this page in another tab overrides bg on other tabs

c)
how difficult would it be to have post highlighting end at signature line, considering there isn't a defined box height? There's the most contrast between our color choice for others and their color choice for themselves.

Hmm, every time I click to refresh this thread, this pops up:

It only happens on this thread too.

NVM, it stopped occurring out of the blue now :P

a) yes
b) it's known yes :P
c) doable, but could be annoying. It's just a simple linear-gradient() that fills the box. Easy job to do because the dimensions are already defined by the box of the post itself, probably have to sorta make a new box area that ends just above the signature line.

@Morgypie, that's confirming a sumbit and is normal browser behaviour. You can try it on another thread. Once there enter a page number in the field on the bottom right, hit enter, once page has loaded hit refresh.

A qfc, page number, edit, preview, all submit a form, so after that, a page refresh alerts the browser and it will prompt you asking do wish to re-submit the data.

@Kakamile, actually the first code I wrote stopped at the sig line. Looked really bad, like it was a glitch. Stopping short of all but one edge of the post just didn't look right. I think it's best to either fill the whole area or not all. Thing is I have plans for people to use their own textures and background images for their custom posts. An image stopping abruptly short of the bottom isn't going to work. Think of the texture on this thread stopping dead at the line.

Also keep in mind I'll be providing more options, where for example you could override font colours. It might be possible to make all text comply with your colour scheme, eliminating the lack of contrast between coloured text and backgrounds.

That texture glitch, I'm publishing an update right now, should be available within the 60 min or so. No new content in the update, just a tidy up of some little things like that texture.

And yep Jmod and fmod colours wont be too far away. This last update was done mostly because I wanted to get something out in the wild. While not complete, there is nothing forum breaking or anything that will hamper users so I thought I might as well publish it.

Hi!

Just some feedback:

I was under the impression that 'Colours (others)' would change the colours for all other forum users that don't fall into another category. Then I realised it only applied to people added the the 'Others' list under Manage Names.

It'd be cool to have another Colours option for what I thought the current Others option did :)

I will be adding some global options, few people have asked for that today :)

Also...

It's been a while, nice to see you here :)

Well Sig is easily solvable by setting color to black and rotating 180°, so honestly low priority update to you Indy.

I'm using (Others) exactly as you said - as a warning highlight in dark red.

Would like to be able to append to friend list or clan list then reset to clear. That way if clan members change I can update but not lose the names of ppl who left but I still identify as clan buds.
