Hmmm couple of problems with that. I don't actually store the data. It's thanks to google that they keep this stuff cached for years.
Example: http://www.indecentcode.com/test/index.php?id=Zarfot
So it's not a matter of merging stored data, and also 200 entries is the limit. So either way you'd lose data. But keeping them separate means you have a permanent record of Imola, as long as no one else uses that name and has an active public alog.
I don't have a simple solution. Tbh I stay well away from name changes because I can't incorporate a one size fits all method into my pages.
I've noticed not everyone is using the embed URL for the polls. Some people are just copy/pasting the URL from the address bar.
So I've made some changes and RS Linkify will embed a poll with URL like this...
ht
tps://hlf-polls.appspot.com/71
I just check to see /e/ is not there and if not, I check to see if the last part of the URL is numeric. If so, I insert the /e/ into the URL along with ?H=500 and embed that.
I haven't noticed any adverse side effects but I wanted to let you know in case you see something that's not right. If there is a problem with this please let me know
Thanks, I'm happy with my 200m rank
But I meant my ranking on the RuneTracker records page. So much bxp etc and those growth-skipping potions from giant mole, that I've probably dropped way down from 3rd.. Oh well, I had my time, I guess.
I've been holding this compatibility issue for a while. One feature I didn't like too much was the blow up feature when clicking on an embedded image whose actual size is much larger than shown.
It works nicely if your browser window is large enough for the blow up to actually appear larger than the embedded version. However when the browser is resized to a smaller window, the blow up has no difference in size and on some even smaller windows, the blow ups can be smaller than the embedded image.
Nowadays, if there's an image too small to read and the blow up doesn't help. I just right click the image and open it in a new tab so I can actually zoom in.
Before this feature, we used to be able to click on embedded images and it opens the source image in a new tab, and we're freely to zoom in with the mouse. It worked nicely regardless of browser sizes.
There should be a toggle perhaps.
