Hiya Rowley, Yeah background went when thread title changed, but it should be back now.
I'm actually fiddling with the forum mod thing right now. Few issues with it though, I didn't realise that page only exists if you're logged in. So I'm working on a method to get the names and store them. Then run a check for updated names based on a number of conditions.
"That's because of you screen size, the nature of the web is that content that can't fit across the screen gets pushed down. I know it's a little weird that it moves, but it doesn't for most people who have the page maximised, maybe one day I'll change it. Your idea with icons, that I do like"
Hmm, good point.. My computer screen is kinda ...well...square.

Also, with the icons, if you want to get really fancy, using short-hands of skills such as agil, fletch, craft, div, rc, wc, thief, etc.. But that's completely optional since they aren't used a whole lot but are still used.

@ItsNotABoon, I have a screen size very similar to that on one of my computers. The short hand would be great, but I hit real nasty problem with it. When the names match the names of elements in the page, or match ID's that have been assigned to elements, it breaks real bad.
The shorter then name the more likely it's going to match something else. I will be able to overcome that, but for now my short term solution is just use long names that don't match anything else in the page.
I don't know if you remember the submit button glitch, that was caused the image called 'add' add. And replaced the submit button with the pic. Wasn't good, and that's I must avoid at all costs.
I will do something eventually, because I agree shortened words would be a big improvement.
Edit: your post with this pic

showed me a whitespace issue that I've pulling my hair out over. Sweet I finally have a fix for it
~ Blame Rowley if it doesn't work ~

Indy, could we request titles for ourselves? Like we do with custom avatars? Or would that put too much workload on you?
I thought this was a subtle hint towards custom titles myself, so I wasn't going to post about it, rather ask ingame. But I really hope it is.
Of course the titles would have to be pre-approved, but I am all for having a little bit more personalisation on the forums. It's worked extremely well with avatars and I am sure titles would go down just as well.

On a side note (although it is about titles) - suffixes no longer go at the bottom of a players name, I'm not sure if you ever changed this, but I recall seeing titles under names at one point:
