Due to something recent I noticed, I was reminded of the idea I brought up to rearrange/remember minimized forum sections on the main forum page a while back.... Unfortunately though I can't remember what you said about it at the time lol

@Keighlea, it's basically just one of those things I have never got around to doing.

The whole forum navigation is not a friendly system. I had plans to make it much better and completely eliminate the need to even go to that page.

I'd still rather do that, than build on that horrible page. It's no accident that RS Linkify does very little to the main forum page.

However I realise that any improvement is better than nothing, so I might focus on that soon.

Removing the need to go there would take adjusting for me, I work in habits so I usually go to that page to get to the HLF after checking other website areas (news, inbox, etc)... But I'm sure I'd get used to it :)

Occasionally someone will post a thread or a post and rather than linking a QFC, they'll link a URL, like this .

Is there anything you can do with these (such as converting a URL to a clickable QFC, since the QFC is in the URL) or somehow keeping our login ID thingy when we go to that URL?

@Keighlea, yep there is something I can do. I might make the qfc clickable. That will eliminate the need to inset a new session ID and it will eliminate the need to check for a session ID.
