The "HLF Poll" link does not seem to appear when editing a post. Is this intended? I wanted to add a poll to the OP of my lounge but couldn't because the button does not show.

@Hardstylez, I'll add the link and do an update shortly.

In the meantime you can click the button, create poll and paste the embed code into the post you want to edit. It doesn't matter where you open the poll creation from.

Edit: RS Linkify Version 3.0.4.5 has the option available when both editing and creating threads. I moved the button too. I think this is better here.

I don't know how you can get in contact any more. The mods that used to reply to me are gone :(

I have tried to contact jagex recently, about two different security issues. I've tried various emails, account help, fansites, tried using the methods they provide on their site, forums and such.

The only thing they replied with was that I'm eligible to get access to fansite forums, and they haven't come through with that either.

I was like wow, what about the serious issues I raised?

The issues I found still exist, so I can only assume they don't want to know about it. Sorry I'm not any help. I don't know what to do :(

Yeah I'm actually thinking of a way to circumvent this from happening with shortened urls.

There is nothing stopping someone copying and pasting the link into the address bar, that's totally out of my control.

But I think I can make RS Linkify unshorten the urls. I also found I can't verify the HTTP redirect headers from your shortened URL, but when I shorten a link without trying to execute a script I can verify the destination. I still need to do more testing but that might mean I can get RS Linkify to differentiate between safe and risky urls. I may be able to ignore/remove/hide the potentially risky ones totally.

I'm thinking I'll be able to add some safety features. Even though it's not up to me, this is totally Jagex's responsibility, I also know I can make things safer long before they will.

Anyway it's very late for me, I'm tired and I have made a little progress so it's all good :)
