At the time, it didn't used to be a thing. (likely because most posts were links, and not content) Now it is, so I am working on putting together something like last time. It is very similar to how comments worked.

For instance:

Heyhey, hope everything's going well.

Have a quick question that I've been wondering about lately. I use my Chromebook to hang out on the forums when I have a break in between classes, and I've often noticed that the imgur tag 'select to reveal' boxes don't respond. Refreshing the page, going to a different page and back, etc. rarely fixes it too.

Switching Linkify off in my browser settings (using the Chromebook) seems to eliminate it from happening, but I don't seem to run into the same problem when I'm on the forums using my desktop at home.

I've used the 'update extensions now' button in my Chrome settings, but I've still been running into the dead 'select to reveal boxes' since then as well.

Might I just be missing something? Thanks!

I also noticed a message from ages ago I somehow missed, my apologies and please don't take my lack of a reply as a lack of interest.

That's so good now reddit posts can be embedded, tbh I really haven't kept up to date with what goes on there.

I have added your fine code and am in the process of publishing the update right now (Version 3.1.9.77). Big thank you again, easiest update I've done in....forever

This is tricky as I don't have a chrome book.

However something to try in RS Linkify settings is enable the "Use RS Linkify embedding for imgur BB tags" option and save (this removes the 'select to reveal').

Then refresh a page that was giving the problem.

If that works, you may then be able to disable it again, or maybe not. But toggling between the two might sort it out.

I'm also curious to know if this has always been an issue on chrome books or is it just recent?

I'm not sure, since I don't use my chromebook much at all haha - only during those breaks between classes for the most part.
