That's a webkit issue and I have seen it before. RS Linkify takes care of it for green fmod text that also did that when hovering over certain elements.
I looked at the example you posted, thank you for the link
I can fix it by passing the work onto the GPU, that way hover effects and colours (even seemingly unrelated colours) wont play up.
I'll take care of it in my next update, not sure when that'll be. I have a few small things to finish up but it shouldn't be too long

Thanks Indy, and thank you for the informative response, as always...
I was watching a few of Stefano Casillo's (lead developer guy for a Assetto Corsa, a racing sim I play) streams the other day, and his style of responses to the FAQ section reminded me a lot of you. He went into detail about how the game engine interacted with certain things, such as controllers, VR headsets, IR trackers, etc - and why a feature is (not) possible to implement, or why it was too much work to implement etc, or what compromises would have to be made, etc. It was great, and although some of it went way over my head, I really enjoyed listening to it.
Just an odd little thing really, but I respect people who go through the effort of a detailed response a lot - and yes, that includes you!

<-- that's a very big smile btw!
Tbh, its hard to be anything other than informative when you're passionate about what you do.
When I see what you describe, I see someone who not only knows what they are doing, but are also passionate about what they do. That's the formula for something special imo

I lurk that section a lot, but I'm posting less and less as it always ends up in disappointment.
The whole profile thing is just sad and it makes finding things harder than they need to be. Also doesn't help with your project either.
Those (at least some of them) web guys should be worried. I don't think Chronicle is the new future for Jagex.
Should their flash in the pan ventures wane, the web team (or part there of) becomes the liability. It could be argued some of them are already in danger of being liabilities.
Because of neglect and a failure to step out of the dark ages (technologically speaking), RSOF is shifting from being an asset. Not a good way to treat your cash cow.
If my staff came to me and said your site is arcane, behind the times, lacks basic features, moderation and rules are draconian, is ugly, is so bad to navigate people use google, etc. I'd listen and work with them to change it. In fact it is the job of my staff to keep me informed. I find it hard to believe the web team can't pitch a half convincing revamp/upgrade strategy to their bosses. Put it this way, how could you convince anyone that this site doesn't need work....badly? Somewhere, someone isn't doing their job.
I have so much more to say, but I'll spare everyone my rantings.
Its good to get a reply from them, just sad the reply is less than optimistic. At least Chronicle will get some love for a minute.

I try to avoid matters regarding the web section because they sadden me and also make me a bit angry; the complete disregard for the behind the scenes of this site.
RuneScape is Jagex's cash cow, and it's surprising that they don't worry about the website more. Chronicle is doing well last i heard, but it's not the future.
