Yeah, because it's the last "match day", so they play at the same time to avoid that 2 teams, for example, agree to draw because the other 2 teams that played earlier would end 3rd and 4th then.

Oh yeah, we did that with Sweden some years ago and got Italy knocked out
I only started watching football this year (February, Barcelona's game against Arsenal), kinda hooked already tbh. Euros is just an added bonus for me.
I had a break from about 2009-2012 when RS kinda took over my life a bit (also Ronaldo left United, which made me sad), but after finding out Man City won the league, I realised a lot had changed, so been watching again since the 2012-13 season.
Football seasons are so great, like finding out there's an FA Cup/CL game you didn't realise was on that evening, makes you so happy.
I'm at the point where I'll watch almost any game that's on, it could be two mid-table teams but it could be a great game, so I watch. An example I can think of is when Everton beat Sunderland 6-2 earlier last season. Not an eye-catching fixture, but a fun game to watch.
Might start trying to get into other sports, though. Feel a bit one-dimensional, but I'm comfortable.
Every 4 years there's a great summer: Euros + Tour de France + Olympics.
2016 is one of those years! Woot!
My favourite sports events are (in this order)
-World cup football
-Euro cup football
-Olympics
-Champions League
-Europa League
-Roland Garros (tennis)
-Wimbledon (tennis)
-Tour de France
-Confederations cup (football)
