In other news...

I am quite surprised by how popular this thread and the hiscore competition ended up becoming. That's why I would definitely be interested in hosting a new competition for the Champions League group phase + knock-out phase, so if that sounds interesting to any of you, make sure to let me know and then you can expect a new thread next month. It would be a lot more work for me to update everything considering that many games are played at the same time, but imo that makes it more exciting, so no problem for me.

The England referees are really benefitting from the performances of the English league teams and the national team in major competitions.

Champions league-, euro- and FA cup final this season for Clattenburg.

I believe Howard Webb got to officiate champions league- and the world cup final the same year once as well due to this.
