ninja fixes for trimming

so with the changes to trim reqs since I was way closer to it than I woulda thought and decide to do it find two really glaring things that I guess would be ninja fixes for making trim way easier on people doing it years from now. it wont help me. I am almost done.

1. grace of the elves messes up getting more tickets for fish flingers.

2. esswraiths currently last as long if one or one hundred people pulling on them, but it should be that they last longer if more people pulling on them, like divination springs, because the little thing that will make you crazy is that... the other guy knows, but will pull on a fresh one to maximize his afk time, and it messes with the guy who wasnt really very afk. there will be a second or two both esswraiths are down and you cant do anything. thats not cool. only recourse is to switch to the one the more afk dude was on, leaving half of one, and pray to the gods he times out and logs on half wraith after.

all the frustration and the hours are still there even with those changes made... and it will be less frustration vaguely directed at jagex for letting something stay broken.

er... my point would be that I am not afking, and they are, which slows me down. that could bother the next guy more than me.

dude if that works and they do it right I will be eternally in your debt. so far its been like every world theyre wrong as fuck and making me crazy. someone is telling them they just get 5 runes a wraith. I am pulling like 10.

hey it does work, but a little different than I thought. its like... being the themeworld for runespan they were each willing to talk about best practice, and do runespan better. they didnt come there already knowing all about it though

...and I have to take it back.

its like letting the marines go to lunch. when they get back you have to retrain them. the same people who were like "oh yeah I will do it this way" totally forget like 3 hrs later. ultimately they don't seem capable of really learning.

it needs a fix from jagex. make stuff last a lot longer if more than one player is pullin on it. the players arent gonna get wise.

so... this push to trim was mainly these weird things for me:
1. champions. no problem. that was fun. I had more than half done already anyway.

2. chompies. that sucked, and its a weird relic of when omar wore the dragon archer hat instead of a duped party hat. it made sense then, but we have way better options now. it didnt take long though, so... pass. dont care. it can stay how it is.

3. fish flingers - kinda bugged by grace of the elves to seriously restrict the rate you can fish for more tickets. wiki people are testing, bug reports have been sent, and maybe that fix is coming.

4. runespan... sucks. rank 1 cosmetics for a hood NO ONE will ever wear amidst afking joyless training nimrods is bizarre torture. I doubt any two players will be making friends there for many years. its like meeting someone in an ICU waiting room. conversely you can make friends doing divination. its in your best interest to co-operate pulling on the same springs and stuff. that seems like an easy little ninja tweak... and again... it wont help me. I will be long gone.
