Have you considered making a spreadsheet for most efficient Slayer XP? I know my (currently planned) list is airut, elves, Kal'gerions, celestial dragons, shadow creatures, dark beasts, and muspah, but could there be any improvements to that?

Would like.

It's hard to tell with so many tasks w/o xp rates.

I think this is something we can easily do. I know Lifer was asking for any info on kill rates for those tasks without data earlier in the thread. After that info is put into the sheet, anyone really can easily play with preferring/blocking tasks to output maximum Slayer xp, as well as maximum Summoning (charms), or whatever combat you are trying to maximize (Ranged/Magic/Melee).

Start at least.

Don't forget the the sheet, since it's aimed at overall efficiency, prefers melee; and on many tasks you can get better slayer xp rates when using other combat styles, so there's that to consider when going for slayer xp too. That applies more specifically for dark beasts (use cannon and poison++) and celetial dragons (use scrimshaw of cruelty). Another great task for slayer xp (and magic xp, in fact) is glacors, I got around ~260k slayer xp/h there with penance, but I know 300k+ is possible with equilibrium aura. But whether to include that or not on your prefer list needs to be calculated with the weighting on the sheet :) .

I have a question for you guys. I made a thread asking for tips on specializing my block/prefer list to help me get as many Edimmu tasks as possible for the Eddy pet, which I want badly before 200m slayer experience. The player above replied to me in that thread, with a quote from this thread (he of course credited the O.P of this thread):

Original message details are unavailable.

News: Due to the addition of addy dragons and rune dragons, the top 4 tasks are no longer break even (because of the added weights to overall weighting - we need a new block slot!)To solve this, we need to add 5th prefer task:
Airuts
Waterfiends
Dark Beasts
Celestial Dragons
Automations
All together, they account for 51.97% of total weighting, which is enough for little over break even

On your block list you should keep:
Abyssal Demons
Ascension Members
Black Demons
Dagannoths
Elves
Edimmus

Greater Demons
Of course you'll be prefering Edimmus instead of blocking them, but this should change your chances to break-through with Slayer points just a bit.

I'll admit, I don't understand this. Would you guys mind explaining how this prefer/block set-up would mamiximze my chances at Edimmu tasks? Also if you have any other tips for me while I'm here, would appreciate that greatly.

See the prefer list, replace automations with edimmus, and then it'd be optimal for the highest chance of getting edimmus without losing slayer points.

Why it is optimal is because the task list that you can do (5 tasks total) is minimized to the point it is barely breaking even on slayer points cancelling everything else (provided you have done the block list correctly.)

Practice using red chins at edimmus, 270 kills per hour :)

Ah I see, thank you for explaining that Life =) . So I take it that, it's right that there are supposed to be 2 empty spots on the prefer list? Also, should I be toggling things like Aquanites/Muspah/Glacors to off, or leave them in? I don't know whether or not your system is reliant on those tasks being in the weighting or not
