I would be mostly interested in weapon specific abilities, where the ability only works/has different effects for specific weapons or weapon types.
For instance, having attack abilities that work best with gear aimed at slashing/crushing/stabbing by having either increased ability damage, duration or better combo effects. There might be special weapons that require an entirely different ability bar setup to get the best dps out of them.
Or by having abilities akin to Tuska's wrath that work different depending on which monster you are fighting on or off task.
Or what about abilities/stances (for specific weapons) that increase dps the more monsters you have killed sequentially (a bloodlust ability, horrible for bossing yet great for slayer).
This would be what I'd like to see since it would greatly diversify combat if done right. Though I admit this should be done properly, with quite a bit of beta testing. After all, balancing such a thing might be very difficult.

Those all sound pretty good! It would be interesting if abilities could have 'bonuses' - maybe accuracy or damage increase? - for using a weapon style, "stab slash crush" for example.

If the CD is going to be 30/45/60s then its not really a basic anymore, is it? Even corruption abilities which are the strongest basics only have 15s CD.
This ability feels more comparable to Rapid fire, except you're trading off Rapid fire's dmg (depending on balance of course) for adren gain. Depending on the numbers (if its only slightly weaker than 2 basics), could be niche use for adren gain when DS is on CD it seems.
If you're giving it 300% dmg, then its decently powerful, its only slightly weaker than needle strike/dazing shot but gives more adren. Whick seems ok at first glance but I think it puts the ability in a weird spot where its not really a basic nor is it a threshold.
Overall its an interesting idea to diversify combat but I just feel its in a weird spot.

Yup! I was kinda going for concentrated blast / fury but for range, but the damage would be like an inverted Corruption and it's channeled so you can't move - and cancelling it early shouldn't benefit you more than letting the ability just go

Well 300% would really mean only 150% because the ability last 2 GCD cycles, but you get 2 extra adrenaline so it would be best used after DS
