I don't think it was meant as a personal attack on you - at least that's not what it sounds like to me. It was more an attack on anyone that does do this (and there are many). .

I wasn't taking anything personal, even IF I was insulted directly.
Merely defending all sides, the ones that do those things and the side that do not. After all some of the participants in this thread made some valid arguments.
Sadly I must tell you guys that IRL this exists even amongst us academnics: A couple of years ago Nepal was hit by an earthquake (I am sure most of you have read about it). We were stuck with 1st and 2nd class evacuation. All the foreigners were instantly hieved out of the country, while the Nepali had to suffer and wait until some old chopper would get them. So as you can see it goes way beyond the supermarket.
As I wrote previously, be the change you want to see in the world, not just virtually but also in real life situations.
Picking a rock or PKing a wanderer was a joke of mine since the side that defends the right to 'claim' a spot would also do, logically, those things. It is controverse to, on the one hand, 'steal' a spot but not mine a rock or PK an innocent bystander.
So I close with the opening, I wasn't taking it personal, just 'claiming' the mandate for those that are indeed as the title of this thread describes. We have to see both sides in life, we have to understand all sides and each other, this is what democracy stands for and in the end the majority wins.
