Getting skills to 120 really isn't an accomplishment. But maintaining an account to keep up with updates and quests would be considered an accomplishment. Used to be people got 99s in a skill they loved and they could actually teach others how to like the skill as well. Just grinding or buying experience with keys means nothing.

The problem with RS' format (which is also its draw, though) is that everyone is expected to max everything. Smithing is supposed to be a loss (which mod ignorantly called making money from smithing a "bug"?), while in every other game ever, it's a skill you profit from. PvM is how you make money to throw away training a skill. It's a format that Jagex continues to reinforce as hard as they can and what you end up with are skills that are just boring to train, have no purpose in being trained and that people would rather buy than put effort into. I enjoyed Artisans workshop ceremonial swords because it required some thought and effort. Everyone else hated it, though; if you can't click your protean and walk away for 5 minutes, it's too much effort.

Thing is though people used to mainly train skills to unlock material that was fun or unlocked quests that unlocked fun areas. Now people get exp in skills for prestige or rank. 120 skills really do not unlock anything. I only maxed so I could always do 13% dungeons.

Agreed. Going by the majority all here should side with my opinion that max cape should require level 120 in all skills and access to hlf locked to those who has not yet achieved 120 unless they are already in hlf like us.

Content should be padded out to make 120 worthwhile except level 1 so other than level 1 requirements all level requirements for specific activity or rewards = (x/99)*120. Eg: Ice barrage requires 114 magic to cast (94/99)*120.

Later on Jagex can think of new spells with lower requirement to fill the void.

GG rs; perhaps support skills only. This server is XP hungry anyway as the game's culture is a complete grind now (as if that's any fun)...hah..hah...no.

Edit: In fact, not to be a complete downer, if it ever happens I hope all supporters enjoy. I prefer people to stay committed to the game over losing players.
