I never witnessed the power abuse of mods well in HLF anyway threads I seen in wrong section were locked and moved and other locked threads were of people talking shit so it was like whatevs.

When I first got access HLF seemed more relaxed in term of players having less restrictions but HLF is more monitered, like Mod Lee If i recall correctly is in charge of HLF then you have forum mods so its like okay dont say stupid shit but at same time its more chill.

I always criticize Jagex, if you played this game for a long time Im sure you have as well but I never felt like free speech was doomed etc if you have a valid point(s) then youre heard and you go from there but if you just talk shit then youre fkd.

I dont interact with mods I mostly leave threads where a forum mods posts frequent or in game I just stop talking when a mod is around cuz you dont know what kind of person that mod is, some are cool some arent. I got enough mute strikes so I play it safe. I got muted last time for saying my rod is getting wet when I was fishing in w84 awhile back.

If the bump rule happens I'm done with forums. It's dead enough as is, promoting other threads that you'd like others to respond to by bumping is being outlawed now?

That is absolutely absurd. I guess rip RSOF. My first forum board ever. Here since 2005, maybe even 2004 I can't remember

As an example, a wrong section thread may be locked (not moved) if it's a misplaced trade or recruitment thread. Why? Funny, I have NEVER seen a trade or recruitment thread. But I HAVE seen hundreds of normal threads that did not get moved, you just locked or deleted them.

..we can't even lock threads here. Any specialist forum is off limits to us for moderating. On the topic of specialist forum moderation, I swear you are the only one that requires moderation. CLF seems to function perfectly fine without a babysister....others are similar.

This. In the case GW is complaining about in particular the supposed troll didn't break any rules, if I padlocked something for not breaking the rules I'd have all sorts of people screaming bloody murder at me (heck they do it when I do provide a reason!) and I'd probably be overturned.



Gee, welcome to the forums. I can say for fact you mods never even considered if I had broken any rule before destroying my works. This was always proven in your own post histories. This lock per second hired gun nonsense.

Also on the backlog I been playing AOE2 more than I have rs.

Dw my backlog actually has a use unlike rs mods who leave theirs for 3 years till it finally makes it in the game when it's outdated :^)
