I guess I need to play with some combos

As for your imp/dev, I know your pain...I used many many components testing.
Once I found the combo placement shown in the pic on the previous page, the I got it 3 out of 5 attempts.
It may just be coincidence, but it can't hurt to try with them in the same positions as I have stated, and who know, it may just help.

The agony is not getting 3/3, it's that despite spending so many mils I don't have any with both imp and dev. It's messing up my setups so I really need to fix it eventually.

Body: Imp 3 + Biting 2/D Slayer
Legs: Trophy Taker's 3/Genocidal + Scavenging 3/Looting

Replace trophy taker/genocidal with demon slayer/genocidal if you do abyssal demons or any other demon task(s). I don't really think crackling 3 makes a difference for slayer. Atleast not to me anyway.

This just gave me an idea. Replace Devoted 2-3 with X Slayer like this:

Since Devoted sucks for Slayer (except for ripper demons), 90% of the time it's better to just replace it with an X Slayer perk.

I have no clue how rare this gizmo would be, but it seems pretty good. I'll give it a few tries with Impatient 3 + Dragon Slayer when I get the chance.

I was leveling up a Virtus weapon set from long ago back when I was meming around with Invention. It still holds true today.

Each piece gives 4x Zaros components, and leveled up to level 9 gives 16. A set costs 10.2m, and you get 32 components from that.

10.2m/32 = 318k per Zaros component.

Subjugation top/bottom, on the other hand, is 5.1m total for 8 components.

5.1m/8 = 637k per Zamorak component at best .
