if you do herb or tree runs already, making super compost at catherby is not much effort. but if you are able to do automans for slayer, they give you a healthy amount of super compost noted drops. I got way more super compost drops now than i'll ever need.

I need mage levels / herbs / cash anyway so it's no biggie. Plus I hate gathering the pineapples and I'd rather get mage / farm xp while I do my runs via magic.

don't need to gather, just buy 40 pinepaples a day from lathlow or w/e his name is on the dock. ezpz

The NPC that sells pineapples if you talk to him is Arhein. You have to talk to him not trade him. He also sells 80 seaweed which helps for making glass if you have buckets of sand.

I'm also saving the weeds I get from raking Farming patches to make into normal compost so I can use a potion on them later to make them into supercompost. I make supercompost in Catherby, and normal compost in the other three bins. Hi.

Right guys,

I've come to a decision I've been debating for a while now.

I have been logging into the forums on this account frequently so I can use the HLF. Thing is, I'm really starting to find this place a really negative environment and as such I have decided not to log in for a long while.

I am going to be foruming on my IM and building up a profile and post count on that. Maybe I'll just see how this thread is doing every once in a while, but the 'community' in the HLF has gone, or maybe it never existed in the first place. I just possibly came to the max game too late and as such I missed that bandwagon all together.

If you guys want to talk, I have my PM on these days and I have my goals thread as you can see in my thread.

It's been fun discussing this with you so I hope we all talk again at some point.

I get it, I really do. I've been on HLF for around 7 years or more. Seen plenty of good and bad during that time.

I've come to learn something. It's the faults and the fact we have the freedom to make such faults, that is where the little gems pop up. Yes they are few and far between, but they do happen.

By contributing to the threads you deem positive (in a positive way) and by not contributing to the negative threads is the single best thing anyone can do for HLF. When we lose people like that, HLF takes a step backwards.

You (as are all of us here) are a contributor to this thread and a fellow ironman, you are a member of HLF and we don't let anyone drive us away.

We all need a break at some time, but don't let them win, fuck 'em!

I guess I'll tell this thread a little story in the spirit of Pyroc's post.

Back in 2013/14 I use to hate Weyburn, and we trolled each other constantly in every thread. I hated the HLF because of Weyburn and everyone that posted like Weyburn.

I consider him one of my best friends on RS now and one of my favorite posters :p You can come to appreciate his sarcasm after awhile, and when he's not being sarcastic he's contributing seriously with threads and posts like this one.

I think a lot of HLF is this way, and it just takes some getting use to or tolerating to appreciate them more :)
