I have the fire cape on my main from using a Deathtouched dart on Jad and never wear the fire cape, it sits in my POH costume room. I could have got the cape on my other non ironman normal accounts the same way but didn't want the cape at all and used the darts on the Kalphite King, sadly no drygore drops.

The only reason I have for beating Jad is the Karamja diary, hard combat is content I don't enjoy or want to play if avoidable.

Each to their own. I still find I feel a certain prestige in having the cape. Like it's a point in an acc which switches it from low level to mid level or something.

if you do a lot of ice strykes then it'll be worth it to unlock the cape (if you got the extra points), i remember they buffed ice strykes to be better, so it depends on your play style. I always had extra points left over without trying to save them. If you get a good block/prefer list going then in the long run you easily are in the positives of points.

Finding the supercompost malarchy rather tedious so I plan on storing 1k casts of fertile soil in my staff. So then I found out I needed 83 mage.

So from my reckoning I need approximately 2440 abby spectre kills to get this level from 80. This will give me 83 mage, 65 (from 62) prayer, possible 79 (from 78 hp) and almost 73 slayer using contracts.

Also, it will award me a shedload of herbs (much needed) and a considerable amound of alchables (again, much needed).

I feel I have hit the triple in terms of benefits, and shouldn't take me more than a day to get 2.4k kills :)

Eh I plan to unlock those critters in the Guthix place to get Supercompost. Kill a few Automatons and you have all the supercompost you need. In the mean time, Pineapples are free from Karamja for making Supercompost, and its an easy tele to the Lodestone there to get them. Hi.

if you do herb or tree runs already, making super compost at catherby is not much effort. but if you are able to do automans for slayer, they give you a healthy amount of super compost noted drops. I got way more super compost drops now than i'll ever need.

I need mage levels / herbs / cash anyway so it's no biggie. Plus I hate gathering the pineapples and I'd rather get mage / farm xp while I do my runs via magic.

Been grinding Araxxor to try and complete at least one t90 lately.

463 kills down and I just unlocked Mallory (already had base pet, all meta skins and Barry), and still not a single hilt in sight :( I seem to have all the pet rng and no loot rng >.<

Edit: Also, on the topic of supercompost and stuff, crywsysysthing workers give a fair few noted supercompost when you're pickpocketing. Sometimes I'll just do a quick run of Ior/Cad/Cry to get some super pots for overloads and supercompost before moving on to other stuff and that keeps me topped up.

One task of automatons can get you like 150+ supercompost though, so well worth doing :)
