did this a month ago, been doing comp tasks and enjoying them.

I still have:
invention
tasks(517/690) will start doing them soon
livid farm
magic arena spell
14 pieces of music left
ports :(
reaper (vorago,legiones,telos)

The only thing that takes so much time is ports because i started it after i maxed :p but i agree with wat has been said if more 120s get added to it , i wont bother anymore. Atm im enjoying doing these tasks its way different than actually going for a 120 which is just grinding the same thing over and over again while in the req of comp cape you have to challenge yourself

As for pro pvm, I do not think being maxed out should be a requirement. I think one massive solo raid should be required for a pro pvm cape. Like the old days with fire cape. Also should not be allowed using the maxed out weapons and armor for the raid either. Should make stuff which cannot be traded. As for comp being worth it. Comp is a joke now that people cheat to get.

ports

Ports takes so long to complete, you'll probably be done with everything else and still have 1 more region left to unlock.

the biggest pain in the arse for me was getting the reaper done, primarily because of the difficulty of finding teams for some group bosses (primarily vorago and rots). The bosses aren't even that tough, but finding a team, gl. Other than that, currently most of the comp requirements you can get done by just casually playing the game and they're not too horrible.

No and I firmly believe they need to create a cape like fire cape was years ago. You should have the most awesome pvm cape without being maxed. Comp cape is just plain stupid.
As long as it can be added to Comp cape (like spirit cape from DG) I'd be OK with this. And I say this because getting that cape would most likely be a comp req, so being able to "fuse" the cape with Comp cape makes sense.

I would say comp is not worth the effort plus when some people obtain the comp cape, their view of the game and it's updates change for the worst and it becomes the complainionist cape.

For what I need and desire in a cape, the max cape is sufficient. With it I have:
-a customizable cape
-a teleport to the max guild
==with a G.E.
==With a bank
==with a nearby prayer and summoning restore
==the boss portal
==the garden portals
-the cape has a +5 prayer bonus with +26 in all styles and 44 armor
-most importantly the only upkeep is when a new skill comes out and when the skll is elite or goes to 120, only 99 is required. I find training skills to be more rewarding and more "game-like" than some of the comp cape's "chore-like" reqs.

Returning to stats, the completionist cape only has +1 prayer, +21 armor, +17 in all styles, and a 300 hp boost over the max cape. While this is an improvement, it is something that I can easily live without. As for other bonuses, it has a built in ardougne cloak 4, ava's alerter, fire cape/TokHaar-Kal for ice strykewyrms, spirit cape, bonesack(e), max cape and Jerrod's cape. Personally I can easily live with not having this combined cape feature as the effort to get the completionist cape is vastly more than the effort needed to get one of these other situational capes should I need one (which is rare for me).

EDIT: Lastly, it depends on your own playstyle. You cab get the max cape by playing the game as your xp will usually get there eventually [assuming you do not bankstand too much]. Things like tears of guthix and other d&ds can help with it. As for the completionist cape, it requires you actually going out to earn it. Some people accidentally max earlier than expected, but seldom do people unintentionally complete all completionist cape reqs.

I owned comp once, maintained it for awhile and then got sick of it. I did it once, it was cool, its still keepsaked after 2 1/2 years of not being able to wear, but I'm not going to do content (pvmscape) I dont enjoy for the sake of comp. Been there done that sort of thing. I prefer the process of gaining exp solely with quests occasionally instead of silly arbitrary tasks.
