1 staff attack = 2 wand attacks, but in both cases I am correct in stating that wand > staff with barrage.
It *looks* like if 1 staff attack = 2 wand attacks but staff hits 2x higher, that they would be equal in dps, this is *not* the case though, for reasons explained in my other post.
2 wand attacks : 1 staff attack
He's trying to say you can potentially kill things in 3 wand attacks instead of 2 staff attacks, and since time of 2 staff attacks = time of 4 wand attacks, using the wand/book is quicker.

Exactly, that is a much simpler explanation than what I posted earlier lol
But think about it this way... All the damage that's spillover has the potential to be 1500+ no? Let's say you hit your primary target for 2700 and its monsters beside it for 1500. This would happen in ONE attack.
The process is automatic. Monsters that are redbarred will still die, and you'd be dealing significant damage to monsters that are high LP in the same move.
Edit: I'll just drop it. I merely started yesterday with this.
