I am pretty sure they're not even logical cores because logical cores can process information individually, can't they?

Like my CPU can process 12 threads at once because it has 12 logical cores (6 physical, 6 hyperthreaded), yet an 8 core AMD could only ever process 4 at once. Unslain Bosses - Clan

that sounds like somebody didnt test correctly before shipping..... rather then an actual issue, it sounds like an incredibly derpy design if it was intended
