I think, its so over the top and not an actual depiction of how people ACTUALLY show happiness, that it just comes off as a joke. Its pretty much just a meme, which turns it viral and then people for whatever reason desire it, simply because its popular.

What Im trying to say is, its the Kim Kardashian of walk animations, and I don't know why or how it ever got popular.
