Yes and you MUST speak, absolutely essential. No voice? Anti-leech mechanic will kick in and result in failure.

This will be during a time when the system in-game either has its own voice chat program, or has the ability to link third-party voice chat programs to the game (enabling it to detect your voice). Whatever path is taken, use of it will be mandatory for the new, super-hard quest. .
