I feel as well, that I am taking a lot more hits since I auged my pernix top n btm? Dunno maybe it just me, but the damage I get from 'nooby' creatures that didnt really ever hit me before is quite noticable lol.

I am way too defeated and tired of this to learn how to do it. Going to camp Muspah's for my 4 chaotic staffs and call it a day. Pogo Stick is out of my reach for the time being.
