All these teasers about the Quest master cape make me want to go for it again...
But I don't want to. I'm so over those stupid requirements and they're bound to add more in the future as well.

Should tie myself up to resist the temptation.

Knowing myself this will be far from optimal strategy but when I went for those I used melee and went south of the portal, there is a place where 3 of the Shapeshifters spawn close to each other and just kept killing those while using ss and Enhanced Excalibur for healing. Sometimes I needed few sharks as well when they decided to be annoying and kept spamming that special attack on me.
Now to think of it, all that effort was in vain. Many tears were shed, and more to come.

Though, it's up to RNGesus himself at the end of the day. Does he consider your death (or deaths) a worthy sacrifice? If not, then no improved loot for you. If yes, enjoy your newly-found luck. .
