Thinkin more along lines of general surviving while doing damage etc. Not keen on any tanking roles lol. Just thinking of something that'd be good to help survive the raids and use to prolong trips on other bosses etc.

I likey the staff too lol, is handy when you dont wanna lug a shield around.

Is not like I can't afford the wand either, it's just - is it worth me buyin when I'd be using with a shield (not with sing) for best dps while also best chance of survival?

For melee I got me dual drygore maces / malev shield now for when survival would be handy.
For ranged I got me dual ascs / veng shield now for when survival would be handy.

For mage atm, I got my nox staff, but also the merci shield that I was planning to use too. Was thinking of grabbing a wand, looked into top 3, which are seism, kiba and virtus. But I dunno if it's that worth spending 500m on the seism when I have the staff.

Kiba woulda been my backup I think, but, not even done with the ports armours yet lol. That and all me other weaps would be tier 90 except for the wand. I dunnu.
