What be the best shields in the game? Are the level 90 ones the best, or are spirit shields a better option? Does it matter if you use a specific type, like magic/melee/range as much?

Have grown fond of some of the shield abils, and thinking of revising my hotbar setups to include shield stoof, but I'mma need some advice on the go-to shields for melee/range/magic setups if poss. <3

I know they're not shields, but, do orbs count as shields for shield abils?

Oki, Div spirit shield the best to grab? Does it cover melee/mage/range as well, so is a good shield to use for all 3 styles?


Also, can't I like, take a hammer, and smoosh an orb into a rough shield shape and then use it for shield abils? :D
