I'm assuming you don't have 20% VAT on everything... So make that £453, then on top of that, add Windows 8 into there and you're up to £530, not too much different from what I'm trying to find for Stu.

Not sure what VAT is, but it sounds like Canada's version of PST/GST (which is 12%), which was added on to the cost.

The 2133Mhz RAM you're giving him is a little overkill, could probably find a 1600Mhz stick for ~£17 cheaper and have the same outcome.

So i basically wouldn't be wasting money on a graphics card that i didn't need, but if i wanted to i could upgrade it without needing to upgrade the cpu?

Graphics cards can be upgraded whenever, the only reason CPUs can't be upgraded as easy is because there are so many different types of chipsets.

My computer came with an AM3 chipset Motherboard/CPU. I bought an i5-2500k which uses an Intel 1155 chipset, to be able to use it I had to buy a motherboard with a matching chipset.
