Hello Mr. Church!
I have five questions written down for you.

#1. Are there any authors that you really admire? If so, who is your favorite?
#2. Did you have an interest in writing since childhood?
#3. When writing a novel, what do you dread the most?
#4. If you could travel back in time and change one thing about "Return to Canifis", what would it be?
#5. In your opinion, what is the most rewarding aspect of writing novels?

Thanks for taking the time to answer our questions!

The books look great, I look forward to reading them both.
What was your inspiration for the books? Did you play RS or just interview some of the MODs to finalize your novels?
What classes did you find helped you most in school to become an author?
Thanks,
Demetrius959

So, what percentage of the profits go to jagex? Runescape and all parts/places of it are trademarked materials. And you are getting frontpage advertising on the RUNESCAPE(TM/copyright)website
We all know that MMG is all about profit... Updates? Not so much. Sales? Totally.

I am still waiting on both your books to order :p, but here's my question:
Do you write/read your books while playing RuneScape? (If you do play). Because I know most of us watch videos or read the forums while we play.

Dear Mr. Church,
I have not yet read your books, but I hear QUITE a bit of hype about them throughout Runescape and these Forums. Now I ask myself, how did such a TALENTED author (Yes, I'm quite flattering! :P ) such as yourself get so popular? Well, I am most certain that the only way to find out is to know about your past-works and compare.
So, my question is this:
What was your first piece of writing which you can clearly remember?
Here is an example of my expectations from your answer (they're NOT high!):
"It was about a pencil named Pencil. He just simply adored writing stories, but long projects used to bore him and used to "diminish" his lead."

Anyways, I hope you liked my question!
Regards,
White Lsword

I've read the first book and absolutely loved it. I found a previous interview that you did and I like how you got inspired from Ice Mountain :) I can't wait to get the new book, even though it's going to be awhile before I can read it. Great job!!!!
When you were writing, did you play Runescape at the same time? Or did you do them separately?
What skills are your favorite?
Thanks,
Drizzt

Mr Church,
First of all excuse me for a bad grammar or anything wrong with my English.
Second, I would like to say that "Betrayal at Falador" is truly awesome. Being a player of Runescape I can conceptualize every word and detail that i had read.
My only question. Being a writer of a novel, I know that some authors portrait themselves as one of the characters in the novel. whether he is a protagonist or the antagonist. Who would you be? Kara? Theodore?

P.S. Hope the elvish creatures mingle at the next book. thanks.

When I first started playing Runescape, I found it entertaining, fun and a good time waster. I have enjoyed playing it as a game, but it has been just a game. Since I read your first novel, Betrayal at Falador, the game became more than just a game. It became a country with real people, real issues, real feelings, real worries, real problems. You brought Runescape to life for me. For that Thank You Very Much.
My question is, What compelled you to take an online game and turn it into something bigger than life?
