Thanks for the suggestion, Bryce .

You're right that it's not really on-topic for this week, but if you look at the Mobile Gaming Poll we ran last month, we got a very similar amount of feedback along those lines.

So fear not, we're certainly aware of the demand for such a thing. :-)

In the Social Awareness Poll I missed the option.

"I look at twitter only because Jagex are too lazy to post the offical hints in the forums."

Oh why oh why can Jagex not keep their own forums at least as third party sites????

Hi there,

First I want to say: please don't look at my poor vocabulary, my English isn't that good.

According to this weeks poll about social networks, I only saw networks like Facebook and Twitter. Back in Holland, most teenagers hardly use Facebook or Twitter. However, almost every teenager in Holland uses 'Hyves' as social network. Most of my friends would to see some more activity, like an official Jagex channel on 'Hyves'.

For as far as I know, Jagex does have 3 Dutch mods: mod Max W, mod Aiko and mod Davo. And, according to their own words, there job is to stand in line with the community. If they want to reach us dutch-speaking teenagers, they might use 'Hyves'. I'm sure many people would like it!

I didn't know where to put this post, and this thread was most useful for me.

I have nothing to suggest for now (:p), but i posted this in compliments and im not sure if it was recieved but, i would like to say how i enjoy voting in the polls and how i chuckle away to myself when i read them :) This was a fantastic idea,And whoever came up with it, is an absolute genius in my books ;)

I have to agree that the Social Awareness Poll left out most of the options I would like to have ticked.

I find it very very annoying that I am expected to join Twitter because it's the only way to get the update hints.

One of the options was about reading Jagex's twitter updates via RSS on another site. Runescape is another site - why on earth can't it show a RSS feed of it's own Tweets?!

At the very least, you could have links to all the social networking pages, without having to trawl through the forums to find them.

But in reality, all the videos/hints/updates/events should be announced and hosted (or at least directly linked) on the runescape site itself. This is the only thing that makes sense unless Twitter are paying Jagex to get more subscribers :(
