What good is a guaranteed content poll if it's about something so trivial? How about they make a guaranteed content poll for what the next new skill will be? Or the next new quest. Or the next mini-game. Or the next major skill update.

Really, no one cares what the dragon scimitar looks like. I voted "Keep it the same" not because I like the current version better (the new ones look cool) but because I don't think the update is worthy of Jagex's time. Focus on something more important.

Do as you wish with the trade limit, or the pking or whatever, I'm over that... but please give us the ORIGINAL 2005-2008 dragon scimmy look.

I've played since 2002, and was here for when that dragon scimmy was released, it needs to be changed back, I'm a RS veteran and the Dragon Scimitar update was one of the stupidest things.

I've already mentioned something about this, but I'd just like to add something.

I feel that this update, of which the sole purpose is to make the Dragon scimitar actually look good, will have been a complete waste of time unless it's also changed to be held HORIZONTALLY
(down by the side, when not attacking). I cannot stress this enough. The way it's currently held, in my honest opinion, looks absolutely horrible.

Sorry for all the whining, and thank you so much JaGeX for trying to make it better!

Blade B is sleek and dynamic, and its flame-like design suits a dragon weapon. The catching/parrying flames along the back seem more effective than the (awkwardly placed)square catch on C's blade(which also looks too cleaver thick and cumbersome for such a fast blade). A's "chipped" blade looks structurly flawed and crude. D is simple and traditional - would be my second choice.

B's shoulder design makes the joining of the blade and hilt look stronger and more solid than on the other models, which look like they have a weak "neck" in comparison.

B's cross-guard is the least effetive of the four. C's seems most functional for a slashing blade (back catch and fore deflector) and also looks good (Dragonish).

A pommel's function is to help keep a grip secure and, more importantly, act to balance the weight of the blade. None of the pommels seem sufficient for their blade. The sturdiest pommel (C's) is also paired with the bulkiest blade. Putting C's pommel (and crossguard) with B's slimmer blade would look better both functionally and asthetically.

Voting B, but would prefer B's blade and shoulder with C's hilt.

I voted to not change Dragon Scimitar at all.

Why?
I saw no real improvement in any of the models. They were just DIFFERENT. Instead of updating old models various times, it would be great if you used all that energy to creating new weapons into the game. I see every day people using mostly same weapons at certain tasks.

I mean, you JUST UPDATED d scimmy not so long ago. What was the developer thinking back then? "Ok, ima do this model now real quick, so we can replace it?"

Best would be that you left older (less detailed) armour pieces alone and just created new ones. So obviously less people would use the old ones but people could see the development and history of the game inside the game. More choices, more variety, more improvement.
