I will try to make this short and concise.
Could you please, in the future, use the forums to come up with ideas for future content based off of player feedback and then use the polls to allow players to vote on this content?
I like how you used the polls this time to directly impact a particular future update (the dragon scimitar), however you haven't always used the polls and the forums in the past for this purpose. I think you should continue this trend though.
I think you should actually take most of your ideas from players (there are so many ideas!) and just let us vote on which ones we like. Afterall, the players are the ones who would know the best about what is wrong in the game. This would also fix alot of the longstanding issues in runescape that many people have been asking for a long time to be fixed (look in the suggestions and constructive criticism forums).
Even if you only take 6 months off and do this, it would be very healthy for the development of the game.
